A portfolio summary is only as reliable as the data behind it. Record where each figure came from, when it was last updated, and whether it is a balance, valuation, or transaction amount.
Units held and their estimated value are different measurements. For tokens, record the quantity and the price source used for any conversion into a reporting currency.
Keep assets grouped by their actual custody location. This makes it easier to spot incomplete data and avoid counting the same asset in two connected views.
Allocation percentages describe the selected portfolio at a particular time. They can change when prices move, deposits arrive, or an asset is omitted from the calculation.
Save dated snapshots and short notes about deposits, withdrawals, and rebalancing decisions. A clear history helps distinguish market movement from account activity.
Connection status: Wallet connections, account balances, and automatic valuations are not implemented. Assets you enter manually are stored in the private application JSON file and are not encrypted at rest.
