Security depends on the device, wallet provider, account provider, and the choices made by the person using them. These checks can reduce common risks but cannot guarantee safety.
Check links and addresses
Open services using a saved, verified address instead of an unexpected message link. Check the destination address character by character before confirming a transfer.
Secure your devices
Keep your operating system and browser updated, use a screen lock, and avoid managing wallets on shared or untrusted devices.
Be alert to social engineering
Unexpected urgency, requests to install remote-access software, and requests for recovery phrases are warning signs. Genuine support should not need wallet secrets.
If you suspect exposure
Use the wallet or account provider's official guidance from a trusted device. Change affected account credentials and contact the provider promptly; blockchain transfers may not be reversible.
Implementation status: Local accounts use PHP password hashing, session cookies, CSRF tokens, and basic per-IP rate limits. Email verification, password-reset email, two-factor authentication, encrypted-at-rest JSON data, wallet connections, and an independent security audit are not available.
